Fall in Vermont: the Intimate Details

So "a couple days" turned into a couple weeks, but I figured I'd wander back here to post some more pictures. Fall is winding down here in Vermont; leaves are off trees, and snow is forecast for this weekend. Not that I'm complaining- as long as we get a decent ski season, I'm happy. These are some more abstract or close-up pictures I took of the fall foliage and things like that. Intimate, minimalistic photography is one of my favorite styles, and it was nice to be able to practice it some more over this fall. Celebrating the arrival of the Dalai Lama... Did I mention that I got to meet the Dalai Lama? Because I totally got to meet the Dalai Lama.

Fall in Vermont: Part 1

I get very little time to get off of the campus to take pictures, which is unfortunate because Vermont in the fall is absolutely lovely (although I hear Michigan this year is even better). However, I have been able to get out a little bit, so I'll post here a collection of various pictures I've taken over the past month or so. This is the first post of this, with some more traditional landscape pictures. I got to take a trip out to the Falls of Lana with the college photography club... Lots of fun, although it really made me wish I hadn't left my tripod somewhere in the UP. Snake Mountain... the sunset wasn't exactly as good as the last time  .
