My Yard List

Although my blog continues to be dreadfully behind the times, I am, in fact, in the US once more, mostly residing in Arlington, Virginia as I attend graduate school at Georgetown University. Although my apartment is in a soulless barracks complex without much in the way of bird habitat around, I've still gotten lucky in terms of seeing a few decent birds. Since I'm mostly relegated to boring American birds now, I've also hopped on the boring-est of birding traditions: keeping a back yard list (in this case birds seen within a block or so of my apartment). I'm keeping that list here for other birders with better back yards to laugh at and use to feel better about themselves.
